On the most delicate and fragrant holiday of the year, the owner of Valmiermuiža has prepared a second sample of the imperial Baltic porter for beer lovers. It will fit perfectly on the celebratory feast table between classic and modern delicacies - or elegantly end an evening meal. This time we have increased the proportion of Munich malt in the brew, thus taking another step towards fullness.
A pitch-black brew pours into the gleaming glass, churning up brownish-golden foam. From the porter comes the bitterness of strong coffee and the rough sweet note of burnt sugar. The sip is velvety full-bodied, balanced. In the taste, nuances of nuts, caramel and dark fruits can be read along with the bitterness of espresso. In the long aftertaste, intoxicating warmth of rum and interplay of sweet and bitter notes.
