At Kokmuiža we continue to brew for freedom - to create drinks that support an active life. As wide as the choice to express oneself in movement, restlessness and strength is, the choice of Kokmuiža brews will be as diverse. This time, a new addition to the dark beers - Dauzonis, an oat stout in a non-alcoholic version.

Oat stout is historically a "heavy truck driver's" beer - Dauzonis gets you up and moving and encourages you to take action at work or in life. Full-bodied, with a thick head, but lively and refreshing, without excessive sweetness. Both the beautiful color and the distinctive bitterness resemble coffee - thanks to the roasted malt and English hops. In turn, oats add suppleness to the taste, and the effect - energy. Have a delicious pounding!

BREWED FOR FREEDOM

Kokmuiža

Beer has been brewed at Kokmuiža since days of old. At the start of the 20th century, it was home to one of the biggest breweries in the Governate of Livonia. Its beer even won gold medals in Paris. Valmiermuiža’s Master Brewer and the driving force behind the revival of Kokmuiža Brewery (Kokenhof Independent Brewery) Aigars Ruņģis has always been interested in the proficiency of this old brewery’s master brewers in choosing the very best foreign beer varieties and giving them a Latvian twist.
