Brewery tours

Visitors are invited to experience the unhurried art of beer brewing. Our storytellers share the story of how pure water drawn from Valmiermuiža's deep artesian well, rich malt, noble hops, and natural yeast come together to create a beer worthy of the festive table. Along the way, guests discover what makes each beer unique, learn the finer points of beer tasting, and enjoy a selection of brews crafted in Valmiermuiža.

Following the brewery tour, guests may choose between two tasting experiences: a selection of classic brews or an exploration of our special brews. The experience can be complemented with beer-paired snacks or a hearty meal in our Beer Kitchen. There is something to enjoy for every guest. Alongside our beers, visitors can enjoy a thoughtfully selected range of non-alcoholic beverages, while younger guests are invited to discover the refreshing flavours of GARDU MUTI artesian sparkling juice drinks.

Cask-Aged Spirits & Distillery Experience

Guests are invited to discover the world of our cask-aged spirits and the craftsmanship behind them. During the tour, you will encounter the copper still forged by renowned German master Arnold Holstein and learn how patience, time, and careful distillation shape the character of each spirit. The experience concludes in the historic cellar of the manor granary, where three cask-aged spirits can be enjoyed alongside the casks in which they quietly mature.

Rye Malt Drink (Kvass) and Artesian Sparkling Juice Drink Experience

During the tour, you will learn how kvass and artesian sparkling juice drinks are crafted from carefully selected natural ingredients and what gives each of them its distinctive character. The tour ends with a tasting of our kvass and sparkling juice drinks.

To join a tour, please book your visit in advance by completing the application form below.

Individual travellers and smaller groups may be invited to join other guests for a shared tour.

A 10% discount is available for pensioners and groups of 30 or more guests from Monday to Wednesday.

Brewery tours take place in Valmiermuiža.

Exploring Special Brews

Following the brewery tour, guests are invited to enjoy both Valmiermuiža's classic brews and a selection of special brews while discovering the distinctive characteristics of ales and lagers during a guided tasting experience.

School groups are invited to explore the world of kvass and artesian sparkling juice drinks. During the tour, guests will learn how carefully selected natural ingredients are transformed into refreshing beverages and discover what gives each of them its distinctive character. The tour ends with a tasting of kvass and artesian sparkling juice drinks.

Optional team-building quiz game: EUR 4 per person

Maximum group size: 35 guests

School groups receive a 10% discount from Monday to Wednesday. Teachers join free of charge.

Beer-Paired Snacks

To enrich the tasting experience, guests may enjoy a selection of snacks thoughtfully paired with each beer. Inspired by the flavours of Latvia and prepared from local ingredients, they are designed to bring out the unique character of every brew.

Masterclass and Brewery Tour with a Beer Sommelier

Friends, companies, and business partners are invited to enjoy a specially curated masterclass filled with captivating beer stories, full-flavoured brews, and carefully paired snacks from our Beer Kitchen. The masterclass is led by certified beer sommelier and flavour storyteller Atis Everss. The experience begins with a brewery tour.

Price: EUR 50 per person (beer tasting and paired snacks)

Minimum number of participants: 20 guests
