Seeing how much consumers have come to love Latvia’s rhubarb soda, GARDU MUTI taste artisans decided to delight gourmets with organically grown candied rhubarb, made from rhubarb cultivated in Latvia. A wholesome treat for young and old alike.
Rhubarb is one of the very first plants to appear in our gardens each spring. Tart, yet healthy—why? Mainly thanks to its vitamin C content: 100 grams of fresh rhubarb provide around one third of an adult’s daily requirement. Rhubarb is also a notable source of vitamin P and contains smaller amounts of other vitamins, as well as malic and citric acids, which support digestion.
Unhurriedly brewed for special occasions, in Latvia beer has been the Master Brewer’s pride and joy since days of yore. As a measure of our respect for venerable traditions, at Valmiermuiža we brew unpasteurised beer patiently and nurture a culture of enjoying beer, so that beer enjoys a place of honour on the festive table just as it did in olden days.
