Redcurrant bushes have always thrived in the yard of a Latvian home. With their sweet-tart flavour, freshly picked berries may not have been the first choice for children to snack on straight from the bush. It was a different story once they were simmered in a big kitchen pot into a sweet drink. Placed on the festive table, it paired perfectly with grandma’s signature treat — a roulade generously filled with redcurrant jelly.  
 
From redcurrants ripened in Latvian gardens, our friends at Very Berry have created a syrup that, combined with 120-metre-deep well water from Valmiermuiža and just a few grains of sugar, becomes a rosy sparkling drink. It gently tingles on the tongue, revealing a refreshing, playfully sweet-tart flavour that leads you back along the path where the happy taste of childhood still wanders, lifting the spirit. True to the idea of preserving a pure taste of Latvia, there is nothing artificial in this drink — no added colours and no preservatives. May contain sediment. Suitable for vegans. Best enjoyed chilled to +5 °C (straight from the fridge) to fully experience its refreshing, joy-filled taste.
