Historical records inform us that "Valmiermuiža was presented to the Prince of Holstein-Beck, who ordered an unusually beautiful palace to be built there, alongside a wildlife park." Located on the road from Paris to St. Petersburg, this magnificent hunting palace welcomed its fair share of royal guests. Lately, the manor house's barn and walls have been awarded the status of an architectural monument of national importance, and therefore it is planned that the profits from Valmiermuiža Pilsner will be allocated to restoration work, as well as the rebirth of the palace tower and park, so that the brewery's hospitable hosts can welcome guests in just as fine a manner as in days of old.
It took three years and fifteen batches for the Master Brewer to perfect Valmiermuiža Pilsner and present beer lovers with a light but distinctive pilsner.

Accompanying the classic malts characteristic of a pale lager is Vienna malt, which gives it mildly sweet tones of nuts and almonds. To obtain a fresh bouquet, when preparing the brew, especially aromatic and noble German hops are used during both boiling and whirlpooling. In the glass, this sparkling golden lager conjures up a head of white foam. Its flavour is characterised by honeyed malt enriched by refreshing hints of peppermint and citrus, while the malty caramel base of its aroma is interwoven with the notes of freshly plucked herbs.
