The main ingredient of beer is water, so to make good beer you need good water. We managed to find one in Valmiermuiža, and the brewery's new building is built next to the 123-meter-deep well. Water is obtained from it, which has filtered through the ground rocks characteristic of the Vidzeme highlands for a thousand years.
